Delta Community Foundation Community Grants Recognized

At a luncheon held on November 10, 2005, the Delta Community Foundation celebrated the grants given to six community service agencies in Delta.

Each agency received $1,600 to enhance the services for which they provide to the Delta community. A representative from each organization explained how their grant was used to add to the services they deliver to our community thereby improving the quality of life for recipients of their service. The agencies receiving the funds were, Boys and Girls Community Services Delta/Richmond, Delta Museum and Archives, Deltassist Family and Community Services, Kennedy Seniors Society, O.W.L. Rehabilitation Society and Delta Community Living Foundation.

The Delta Community Foundation was founded in 1986 and since then has raised funds, invested and distributed only the interest to worthwhile charitable agencies in Delta.  Individuals and families have invested in perpetuity with the DCF to ensure that their contributions from a legacy and last forever.
