Julie Berks
Julie Berks has retired after a long career of senior management roles in the financial services industry. She hopes her strong management, communication and project management skills will assist the Foundation to achieve their goals.  She has resided and raised her family in Tsawwassen for the past 50 years and worked for several societies and charities including a current role on the board of Kin Village.
Guillermo Bustos
Guillermo Bustos is a retired teacher, who taught French Immersion at South Delta Secondary School. He served the BC Teachers’ Federation for five years as Assistant Director of Professional Development, responsible for French Programmes and Services, and the Delta Teachers’ Association as Vice-President and Professional Development Chair. Guillermo is now an Instructor and Facilities Coordinator for ElderCollege Delta and a past president and current director on the Board of the Rotary Club of Ladner. 
Shahida Devji
Shahida Devji has been a resident of the East Ladner area for 20 years where she lives with her husband and two children. Since moving to Ladner she has worked with husband's family business, Delta View Life Enrichment Center and Deltaview Habilitation Center,  a 296-bed Long Term Care site which primarily manages the care of dementia residents. During her time at Delta View she served in various positions, eventually becoming Director of Therapeutic Services then Assistant Site Manager until February 2020 when she retired. Prior to her joining the family business she served 10 years in various management/training leadership roles at TD Canada Trust.
Ammen Dhillon

Ammen Dhillon is a registered clinical counsellor at the Surrey Women’s Centre. She also runs a private practice in pursuing a long-held passion to work with individuals in mental health. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She also holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and worked for 13 years as a biotechnology scientist. Ammen lives in North Delta with her husband and children. She values healthy and thriving communities and has provided culturally sensitive mental health awareness to various audiences, coaches soccer, monitors kids in the Delta School District. She is a long-time member of the North Delta Potters Guild.
Stephanie Gibbs
Stephanie Gibbs is a Writer and International Sales Executive for Canada Post, consulting for major brands with marketing and eCommerce business in Canada. She is passionate about community involvement and has spent over 15 years volunteering with various non-profits, such as Minerva, Vancouver Police Foundation, and the B.C. Crisis Centre. She holds a business degree in entrepreneurship, a business management diploma, and a variety of professional certifications. 
Walt Hayward
Walt Hayward is a local businessman and licensed realtor is a past president of the Rotary Club of Ladner. He has served as Director on various municipal committees and as an elected member of Delta Municipal Council. 
Vicki Huntington
Victoria "Vicki" Huntington served as an independent MLA in the BC Legislature from 2009 until 2017. In 1993, she was elected to Delta Municipal Council and returned to Council in four subsequent municipal elections. In Ottawa she worked with the RCMP Security Service in Ottawa for most of the 1970s and then served as executive assistant to two federal ministers. She has also served as band manager for the Gitanmaax Indian Reserve in Hazelton. 
Valerie Titford
Valerie Titford is a newer resident of Ladner and enthusiastic about local causes. She is a professional fundraiser at UBC’s Faculty of Science with experience raising funds for endowments, student awards and scientific research and was part of the University’s $1.5B Start an Evolution campaign. Val believes philanthropic support can empower individuals and create engaged communities. She currently serves on the Board for the Ladner Community Garden. Her interests include travel, hiking, pottery and increasingly the idea of food security and she is cultivating a sustainable food garden. 
Carlene Lewall
Vice President

Carlene Lewall was a leader and builder of Delta Gymnastics Society (1979 – 2017). Her passion is to make a difference in the lives of children by developing self esteem through physical literacy, belonging and know that people care for them. Carlene is also an active board member of KidSport Delta, Delta Sport Hall of Fame, Delta Sport Council, Ladner Business Association and Tourism Delta. 
Gail Martin
President & Board Chair
Gail Martin spent early adulthood in Tsawwassen and has lived in North Delta since 1973 where she raised her now adult children. Having worked for 34 years at Telus, she retired in 2002.  Among her many contributions to the Delta community are Conquer Cancer canvasser, school Parents Advisory group and Sur-Del Scouts Canada, among others. She has also served as a member of the Delta Family Court Committee, Delta Community Services Advisory Committee, Delta Healthy Communities Committee, Delta Area Planning Committee, Delta Police Board, Delta Police Foundation, BC Labour Relations Board and, most recently, the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC. She has also been a member of the Finance Committee at Crossroads United Church where she has provided congregational outreach during the pandemic.
Ulf Ottho 
Ulf Ottho practiced law in Delta for 34 years and now runs Delta Mediation Services. He has been instrumental in the establishment of at least two endowment funds by local residents at the Delta Foundation. From 2008 to 2013 Ulf served as a member of the Parole Board of Canada, Pacific Region. Over time he has served as a director of the Ladner Business Association, Delta Chamber of Commerce, Ladner Sports Festival Society, Delta Voters Association and Reach Child and Youth Development Society Foundation. He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Ladner for 35 years, serving at one time on the board and as president. 
Peter Roaf
Past President 
Peter Roaf has served as a senior manager and consultant in external and internal corporate communications and public affairs for large and small organizations and as Executive Director of the Delta Chamber of Commerce. He was President of the Delta Community Foundation from 2018 to 2021 and is a member of the Rotary Club of Ladner. He is an Accredited Business Communicator and, in Canada, a Master Communicator, with the International Association of Business Communicators, which he served for four years on the international Executive Board. 
Richard Shantz
Richard Shantz is retired having worked in the investment industry for 48 years as a Vice President and Director working in Senior Management positions and as an Investment Advisor. He has been active in the communities he has lived in and has been recognized for his volunteer efforts by the Governor General of Canada who awarded him the Sovereign Medal for Volunteers. Richard has been honoured by Rotary with a Paul Harris Fellowship and is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Ladner.
